Jimmy The Exploder is a West Australian feature filmmaker.

His film The Black Balloon won 6 x AACTA Awards (the Aussie Oscars) including Best Film.

He produced and co-directed Smashing Pumpkins rockumentary The Arising.

Jimmy is currently directing Stunt Man a documentary about Mad Max stunt coordinator Grant Page.

He will soon direct his first US narrative feature Luka Magic.

Jimmy also EPs independent movies through Boomtown Capital.
